WOVEN FIBRE FURNITURE
Kukua collaborates closely with WomenCraft, a social enterprise in remote
northwest Tanzania, supporting over 600 craftswomen, facilitating their personal and community growth.
Through this partnership, Kukua aims to support and enhance WomenCraft’s mission, increasing economic opportunity in the post-conflict, tri-border area of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania. In a collaborative effort with WomenCraft’s director, Lorenza Marzo, Kukua has integrated innovative furniture designs into their current collection, elevating their offerings.
The complete joint collection consists of handwoven coffee and side tables, chairs, lamps, and decorative wall pieces, with new models for the upcoming season currently in development.
